Fresh Off The Lot was born long before we ever had a logo or business cards.

Founded by brothers Steven and Michael Townsend, our story started as kids growing up in the rainy Pacific Northwest—armed with some Clorox wipes, paper towels, Windex, and an old Dirt Devil handheld vacuum. We'd spend hours detailing our parents’ cars just to see how “like-new” we could make them. From fast cars to old hunting pickups, we were fascinated by anything on wheels and fell in love with the transformation that comes from hard work and attention to detail.

What began as a simple curiosity quickly turned into a full-blown passion. Over time, we soaked up everything we could about detailing—from chemicals and machines to techniques and paint systems. That childhood obsession led us to a life of pursuing perfection, and Fresh Off The Lot was born out of our desire to offer something more: real results, real customer care, and real pride in every job.

From Mobile Vans to Our Flagship Shop

Our first setups were humble—out of a short-bed pickup and working in the Texas heat—but our drive and results kept bringing in more clients. That support helped us level up from mobile-only to our first physical location:

Today, our luxury auto spa features climate-controlled bays, epoxy floors, advanced lighting for paint correction, and a comfortable space for customers to relax. We still offer mobile detailing, but the shop lets us push the limits with ceramic coatings, paint correction, and high-end protection packages.
